Hi, I’m Jairo Rene Leiva.
I’m a photographer based in Petaluma, California, serving the North Bay, Sonoma County, Marin County, and the greater Bay Area—but more than anything, I’m someone who pays attention.

I notice the small details. The quiet expressions. The moments in between that most people overlook. That awareness is what led me to photography—and it’s what continues to shape the way I work today.

As a photographer, my approach is simple: focus on what’s real.

I don’t believe in forcing poses or creating something that doesn’t feel natural. Instead, I create a space where you can feel comfortable, present, and fully yourself. That’s when the best images happen—honest, expressive, and meaningful.

My work is rooted in connection. As a portrait photographer in the North Bay, I’m drawn to people, their stories, and the emotions that don’t need to be explained. A photograph, at its best, becomes more than an image—it becomes a memory.
