This Photography Usage & Model Release Policy explains how images created by Photos by Jairo may be used, displayed, and protected, and outlines the rights of both the photographer and the subject.
Photographer Ownership & Copyright
All photographs displayed on photosbyjairo.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Jairo Rene Leiva (“the Photographer”).
Under U.S. copyright law:
- The Photographer retains full copyright ownership of all images.
- No ownership rights are transferred to clients or subjects unless explicitly stated in writing.
Images may not be copied, downloaded, altered, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial or personal purposes without prior written permission from the Photographer.
Permitted Use by the Photographer
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Photographer retains the right to use selected images for:
- Portfolio display (website, galleries, printed portfolios)
- Marketing and promotion
- Social media
- Competitions, exhibitions, and publications
- Educational or editorial purposes
This usage is limited to lawful, respectful, and professional representation.
Model Release & Consent
By participating in a photography session with Photos by Jairo, the subject grants the Photographer permission to:
- Photograph them
- Use selected images as described above
This applies to:
- Portrait sessions
- Boudoir sessions
- Events
- Editorial or artistic shoots
If the subject is under 18 years of age, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
Boudoir & Sensitive Content
For boudoir or intimate photography:
- Images are handled with discretion and respect.
- Explicit consent is obtained before any public or promotional use.
- Clients may request limitations or exclusions on how their images are used.
No boudoir or sensitive images will be shared publicly without explicit consent, even if a general release is signed.
Client Usage Rights
Clients may receive limited personal usage rights, which may include:
- Personal printing
- Private sharing with friends or family
- Display on personal social media (with credit when possible)
Clients may not:
- Sell images
- License images to third parties
- Alter images beyond basic cropping without permission
- Use images for commercial purposes unless licensed separately
Requests for Image Removal
Subjects may request the removal of specific images from public display (website or social media).
Reasonable requests will be honored when possible, except where the image is required for legal, contractual, or archival purposes.

Third-Party Use Prohibited
No third party may use images from this website without explicit written permission from the Photographer.
